When/if we move house i am thinking of having dd2's room as a sensory room, so it will be her bedroom but also a sensory room, i don't want it to be to busy (as she needs to be able to sleep in there), i was thinking maybe a bubble tube (if i can save enough money) and some tactile objects. We saw (well dd2 found) some great cushions in Next last week (she spent almost an hour touching them this fluffy one and this so i thought maybe a few cushions and a bean bag.

What sensory items do your dc's have in their rooms? i need some insperation .

Just an idea, but 6th form students and colleges are often looking for design projects.
A 6th form design (i think) class made, built and installed a sensory area for a friends dd. The parents just ahd to cover cost of equipment.
Maybe worth a look if you are looking for something bespoke
