The home insurance people must have realised that my laptop is essential

Very impressive turnaround. Laptop collected on Thursday, had a phonecall yesterday to say that they couldn't fix it, and a giftcard arrived this morning.

Thanks to DD1's wild toes catching the edge of the laptop I now have a beautiful new one

Wow that's good

And a salutory lesson- ds4 caught our OC on Monday, DH managed to sort (benefits of being married to a techy nerdy geek No. 1 ) but iot never occurred to us to think about the insurance!

Doh!

Ha ha - I'm sure you are all doing just fine. But it's good to be back.
