Daughter 4, has a physical disbility and due to start school Sept 2010.
She is currently in a small private nursery without support but supported unofficially.
I have been pushing to get support sorted for when she starts school and things were moving slowly. Had a team around child meeting last month with the ed psychologist and an action plan done and it is going to the panel this month (EYAP?).
Spanner in the works is just found out DD didn't get into our chosen school and there is no way she is going to the alloctaed school.
Obviously appeal route is open to us but i'm concerned that if she only gets in on appeal it will be too late for support to be sorted before starting school.
There is one private school option, i'm going to see today but Ed psy has just implied DD wouldn't get any support there.
I'm waiting for a call back from parent partnership. Is there any one else who I could contact for info and/or best websites to look at?
Sorry so long but this has really thrown me as we were assured by head that DD should get the school applied for.
