this is one challenge after another my young adult child thinks they don't need any help or support and a very resistance are going to disappointments very resistant to try to get support I am imagining everything and I am paranoid is what I usually get despite on lots of medication and ongoing assessments
My young adult child is very young socially and emotionally

Un Fortunately she totally on myself and my husband and I know that's wrong and I know they should be going out into the real world and fighting their own battles but it always seema to go so wrong so far as we try to get into a voluntary shop charity shop and we got the appointment for an interview then she had a seizure ended up in hospital and the charity shop interview our back at home square one

@BreezyBird

For whom would the PIP application be, OP? For your daughter or yourself?

@BreezyBird

What is her current source of income?

Does DD have an EHCP?

Have you had a social care assessment? You can have a carer’s assessment even if DD doesn’t want an assessment of her needs.

If DD does not have capacity to manage a PIP claim herself, you can request to become her appointee. Then you can manage the claim on her behalf. You could apply for UC as appointee too.

Has DD had any MH support?

If DD is still finding the remind medication/dose for her epilepsy, it isn’t the right t8me to be looking at things like a job/moving out, IMO. Finding the right AED and the right dose can take time and can come with side effects.
