Looking at secondary schools in/near Hackney/Islington for shy ASD, possibly ADHD too DD with average intelligence and SPD, has EHCP.
Apart from an indie option we are considering, the state options that might be suitable are Clapton Girls and Highbury Fields School. Highbury Fields is smaller and seems to have classes of about 20 girls, so looks good on paper, however have seen some mixed reviews, so not sure about it.
Would like to hear any recent experience of both schools, especially with regards to pastoral care and support of ND girls. Thank you.

Watching with interest. Have you visited Clapton? I thought their Senco was quite impressive at the open day last year and he is on SLT, which apparently is unusual.

Yes, have visited Clapton and the Senco I think is also deputy head. Agree that he seems good. It's just that the classes are 30 kids and the school is about 1,200 which seems large. Also, after each class they ring a bell that sounds like a fire alarm and DD has sensory issues, so hates this kind of loud noises.
Going to see Highbury Fields shortly. It is 700 kids and smaller classes, thus looks good on paper.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
