Hi,
we are moving to fulwell/ Hampton soon. My daughter will be in year 4 - she is autistic and masks highly.doesnt do well with noise, and is a teacher - pleaser , fawns a lot at school! Needs lots of encouragement and support academically & socially. I’ve had really mixed opinions from friends on local school, understandably.

im hoping to hear thoughts from parents of similar girls which schools you’d suggest looking at or avoiding? Thinking of
hamptin hill juniors
hampton juniors
st james’
stanley

also briefly thought about private options:

St Catherine’s girls school
newland house
Clarence house
Twickenham prep
surbiton

she doesn’t have an EHCP but once we’ve found the school we will start the process.

thanks in advance for any experiences or wisdom. Hoping to find somewhere with a good understanding of autism in girls, open space, wraparound care a bonus

It sounds like you’re being really thoughtful about finding the right environment for your daughter, especially one that understands how autism can present in girls. I hope you hear from parents with similar experiences who can share what has worked well for their children.
