DLA back payment rates and disabled child element on a joint UC claim

Hi I received a back payment of £856 from DLA. Is anyone able to tell me the rates please

and also I work but my partner doesn’t and we have a joint UC claim. Can we get the disabled child element and can ir be backdated?

yes, claim disabled child element and carer element.

it can be back dated. I’m not sure how quick it happens so may need to send some reminders

£856 is 8 weeks of MRC/LRM.
The calculation is (£76.70 + £30.30) x 8 = £856

Yes, you can have the disabled child element on UC. It can be backdated to the start date of the DLA award. You will also be eligible for the carer element on UC. That can be backdated too.
