Would this annoy anyone else at all or am I just literally reading too much into it

My daughter who’s 15 when I had taken her to her appointment at the hospital her consultant had picked up on autistic traits and how socially awkward she is.
He raised concerns about this and advised to get in contact with the school to refer to the right agencies to get her the help and support she needs. I honestly felt bad as I just thought she was socially awkward and just didn’t enjoy being around people she’s the same with family she doesn’t communicate and literally hides behind me.
School got a specialist advisory teacher in to see her and he agrees that she’s autistic amongst other medical issues she has

On the off chance I applied for Dla for her medical issues - arfid, therapy she self harms and I have to keep a constant eye on her and have to spend more weekly on food due to her not like the smell texture etc of food.
She’s in and out hospital appointments with gynaecology.
With the help and support of the school as she struggles with going in and being in a classroom full of kids they’ve put an IEP in place and given her a reduced timetable.
Now when making the decision for Dla they had phoned the school and spoke to her support and she explained how she is perfectly and now she’s been awarded.

This friend of mine asked about it and I said yeah she gets it and now she’s saying oh but she was fine before what’s changed now.

Would it annoy you if someone considered you a friend to say something like this as it felt like she was having a dig.

Yes, it is annoying and shows a lack of understanding. I would think about who you are discussing things like DLA with in the future.

As an aside, has an EHCNA been requested? And if DD can’t attend school full-time is alternative provision in place?
