Can an independent specialist school close early in hot weather?

Can a wholly independent specialist school close early due to heat and offer no alternative care for children even if school transport (taxi) can't collect at that time and parents can't collect early due to work?

I don’t know, but perhaps it’s the same as the situation for working parents in any school that closes early because of extreme circumstances.

School transport would be the difference and I should think that the taxi drivers have a schedule to adhere to.

Schools can close early because of extreme weather. They can’t just kick a pupil who hasn’t been collected out though!
