Experiences of non-violent resistance parenting for a demand avoidant autistic child

i have a 12 year old son with a diagnosis of ASC and is demand avoidant. He also has a history of adverse childhood experiences and trauma. He has an EHCP in place and attends a specialist school.
I have been looking into non violent resistance parenting as his behaviour is escalating and I am finding him extremely challenging at times.
I am wondering if anyone here has experience of NVR parenting and if they would recommend it please?

Yes, I found it was really helpful to get DH and me on the same page.

We saw Jack at New Leaf NVR.

Many find it helpful. DH did an NVR course via local services. I wasn’t eligible for funding as I had previously done a more in depth non-violent resistance course.

Have you requested an early review of the EHCP?

Thank you for your reply. I’d given up hope of anyone posting. Thanks also for the recommendation, I’ll definitely look into it.
