How did your child give their view for their ECHNA?

I'm looking for a range of ideas. For reference my daughter can write, draw etc. I'm wondering the best way to get her views across and give her ownership of the process. Thanks.

You can do it however you/DD wants.

We gave DS1&3’s views on their behalf because of how old they were/their needs. DS2 wrote a statement.

I chatted to her and wrote down what she said.

I mean, it's a nice and worthwhile thing to do (at any time) but it makes pretty much zero difference to the EHCNA process so...

I would also caution being overly open with what you disclose about your family life in "about us" type sections as it can stick around on the paperwork. For various reasons my daughter attends the school where I teach and I was mortified to find that had been emailed to the general email address!
