Hi we are currently looking at schools for our som from september going into year 4.
Looking for some 'lived experience' feedback on Bruern Abbey and Fairley House.
My DS is classically 'Twice Exceptional'—95th percentile verbal reasoning but 7th percentile working memory and significant ocular-motor/sensory needs.
he’s currently being homeschooled after a mismatch of mainstream primary with a teacher who didnt understand his needs and believed he was lazy and defiant and didnt recognise he was dyslexic so became dysregulated and overwhlemed in their really busy environment.
He’s an articulate, eager learner at heart and wants to go back to school.
Would love to hear any thoughts, feedback snd experience on these schools please!
