I find it so difficult to find clothes for Dd to wear that looks presentable. I know what type of material she likes, but she mostly wears trousers that are pulled down very low on her hips as she hates the feel on her waist area. A lot of times this means underwear is showing, it looks very sloppy.
I just wondered where other people shop or if anyone had any suggestions for lovely soft material that doesn’t have to be pulled down low

Will she wear a dress? I don’t mean a frilly dressy dress, I mean one of those jersey material ones that aren’t fitted round the waist. My DD (ASD) loves them. They’re comfortable and soft and you can get lots of colours and designs.

She’s not a big fan of dresses, she hates tights or leggings too which is probably why she has gone off wearing dresses. So many lovely clothes in the wardrobe she won’t wear. Insists on the same ugly jumper and trouser all the time. I resorted to hiding a couple of trousers I couldn’t bear to see her in any longer.

Re the tights and leggings, my DD has long socks (above the knee). She likes the striped ones but you can get plain ones too.

Your only other option is to upgrade her trousers and maybe try something like yoga pants that have a soft panel rather than an elasticated waist. They’re also easier to roll down without revealing too much. That or longer tops with the trousers would be one thing to try.
