I'm moving to Wirral in a couple of months with my young son (he'll be 9 by then), and I'm looking for some recommendations for schools with good SEN and pastoral provision? He's AuDHD, and struggles a little with understanding the social aspect of pre-teens (he assumes everyone will be kind all the time).
I know everyone will say 'which area', but honestly I'm looking for the school first. I work from home, so I can go wherever within Wirral, but I would love somewhere decent that's within walking distance of the best school. But the school comes first.
I know I can look at OFSTED reports, but firstly they linger more on the academic than other aspects, and secondly I think it’s best when you get recommendations from parents who have actually had kids go somewhere. The best academic schools are not always the best SEN schools. Thanks in advance!
