ASD assessment services in Manchester

My just turned 11 year old shows strong ASD and ADHD traits and comes from a family where I am diagnosed as is his half brother. His sisters are very likely both too and the eldest is awaiting an assessment.
The referral process has been messed up and despite being told at the first NHS ADHD appointment that they thought he should be assessed for both they apparently only assess for ADHD.
The NHS wait time is ridiculous and he’s starting high school in September. He’s really struggling at school for various reasons despite being very bright and I’m looking to go private for his assessments.
Can anybody recommend anywhere in Manchester or nearby that follows NICE guidance please? A school mum friend went somewhere in Knutsford but when I looked at their website there was no mention of NICE guidelines which put me off. I don’t want any quibbling about the validity of the assessment.

Have a look at Spectrum North West.

Support in schools is based on needs, not diagnosis. The primary school should be providing support now, not waiting. The secondary should do the same. Have you considered requesting an EHCNA?

School are good at paying lip service and things look good on paper but the reality is very different. He and I will be glad to get him out of there. The sendco is upset that he is so unhappy at school but the staff aren’t following his plan. We’ve given up and at halfway through year 6 nothing will change. There’s no places at other local schools; I’ve applied and been rejected. The HT is a lying twat and I have no faith in him. It’s a very victim-blaming school where boys are treated very differently to girls. My DDs were great maskers so caused no issues. My son does mask but not as well for the school’s comfort. I’ll look into the EHCNA.

Bumping for more recommendations 🙏🏻
The Priory is probably our closet location. Does anyone have any experience of there?
