Private Adhd diagnosis for 12 year old

Can anyone help with the process or recommend somewhere to go for an adhd diagnosis for my 12 year old please.
His behaviours don't manifest at school particularly (although fidgeting and focus are an issue). He's high functioning but since starting senior school it's starting to affect his mental health. Saying he's useless because it takes him ages to start on things, terrified of being told off. He holds it all together at school and go to pieces the minute he walks through the door.
I'm so worried that although he'll probably manage through senior school it will seriously affect his mental health if he doesn't get support.
Thanks so much

Where do you live? or county?

You could look at Dr Maite Ferrin. If you would want to try medication if diagnosed and affording ongoing private prescriptions would be an issue, before going private, you should check if your GP will take on shared care. Many GPs won’t now for those diagnosed privately.

Don't bother if your school aren't supportive - you need evidence from school or another different setting or you can't get a diagnosis for a child even if all other evidence is very clear. That does just mean one teacher though. In our case an obstructive school was very expensive.
