I’m at breaking point my son won’t go to bed. Try all the calm techniques, we have let him have his switch because that had been calming him but he just won’t give in to sleep. I have no idea how we are supposed to keep doing this. He is exhausted and so are we. He seems calm pre bedtime, went to bed nicely it as soon as it gets near time for sleep his brain flips.

I don’t know what I want I just don’t know how to keep going.

Has DS tried any medication to help with sleep?

How much exercise is he getting during the day?

We use melatonin and cosleep. Not ideal but the only way that anyone gets a half decent sleep.

I think we are heading to melatonin, we have had a couple of nights where it’s been ok with a compression sheet so I think it’s just wait and see.
