Looking for some real world experiences please. Child 1 is in Reception and is waiting a SEN diagnosis, potentially ADHD. Child 2 is about to start nursery and would like to find the right school for them both to go all the way through.
New Hall School in Chelmsford is local to us but having read through all of mumsnet.... there are wildly different views on this as a school from "DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD" to "Couldn't do enough for my child with SEN needs". Some of these are from 5/6 years a go so I recognise things can change.
Can anyone offer there recent experience of New Hall, from Nursery through to secondary and how it was for their child, with or without SEN. (we are not Catholics).
Also does anyone have a child with SEN needs that has sent them to any other independent school in the region who feels it has been excellent?
Our children may do well in state school but I am considering all options and with such mixed reviews it is blurring the lines.
