Seeking recommendations for close-fitting boxer shorts for tween boy

Tween DS has various clothing sensitivities and is used to wearing stretchy cotton boxer shorts - the type that are close-fitting, not baggy. Thing is, I haven't been able to find any replacements for his current ones (which are getting holes in them, he's had them so long!) and wondered if anyone can recommend any brands?

The last lot came from Asda and I think they must have changed the design/shape as the ones in store now seem to be so much bigger and would just be baggy on him, which he'll reject. As pants are non-returnable, I can't really afford to keep buying and trying different brands, so thought I'd ask on here - I'm essentially looking for something quite snug-fitting and stretchy with soft (non-scratchy) stitching around the waist. Anyone bought anything like this recently?

DS has these from M&S if these would be any good? The close fitting kind often seem to be called trunks, if that helps your online search. FWIW my DS found Primark ones to be too baggy, he goes back to the M&S ones even though theyre almost threadbare! DS is slim so i size d-lown- he’s almost 13 but still wears size 11-12.

@Acunningruse Thanks! That's really helpful. I'll have a look in M&S...

Same requirements here. We have similar ones to the M&S ones from Tesco. Definitely shop for ‘trunks’ not boxers.
