Adults - Recently diagnosed as ADHD and autistic help tips

I’m in my 50s and have been diagnosed with ADHD and autism. Autism wasn’t a shock, ADHD was. Medication - I’m on a wait list and it’s currently 18 months.

I’m female. Any advice or great tips. I have ordered a paper ADHD list maker and it feels better in terms of organisation.

Any tips greatly received

Just tagging along on this thread. I'm 30 years old, dyslexic and have recently been reading up on ADHD. Also autism as it's obvious in some males in my family, a younger one is diagnosed. But my dyslexia assessment didn't assess my social struggles and did diagnose impaired audio processing which is not classic dyslexia.

So reflecting back on my dislike of parties, and shops, I do get overwhelmed. Allthough I never showed it as much as my brother.
