Does anyone have any feedback about any of the above schools for a child who is academic but has significant sensory needs and needs SEMH support around anxiety and emotional regulation? Or anywhere else we should be looking? She has an ASD diagnosis and an EHCP.

The 3 you mention all work for the right pupil. Although for Canbury in particular it will depend on how DD’s SEMH presents. You could also look at Orange Tree and, if they are within travelling distance, The Rise and Hillingdon Manor.

Thanks - I will have a look!

I think Canbury will be too much of a journey especially in rush hour. The Rise and HM are nearer but I thought they were more specialised in children who also have a learning disability. Definitely worth looking into though.

The Rise and Hillingdon Manor are both autism specialist schools rather than LD schools. Neither school has academics on par with mainstream schools, but both offer some GCSEs. I would say The Rise is more academic than Hillingdon Manor.
