My son's Occupational therapy report came in the post today and to say I'm shocked to my core, he's 11 years old and struggles in school hence the assessment, the lady who assessed him has more or less said he's neurodivergent but is getting assessed for ADHD/autism. He stated that he doesn't know much about autism/ADHD or understands what they all mean, I have said in so many words what ADHD is and autism but I don't think verbal goes in well so I'm looking for books and short clips on YouTube that can teach him to understand neurodivergent, ADHD and autism, if anyone has any recommendations please help me thank you.
