Dla for my autistic non verbal son

Hey! I applied for dla for my son in July. It’s been ages since I heard anything and I know it’s a 25 week wait. I was told last Monday it was with decision makers. Does anyone know how long this takes or even what the process was for them afterwards. Feel clueless as what’s to come lol
