Hi all,

DD is moving school for sixth form- she had no choice....

She's very stressed and taking it out on all of us..

I am sure we will get through this we always do but at the moment I would like to rewind a couple of years!

Just wanted to bump this for any other parents... we have had a real roller coaster.. think she's going to be ok but it's certainly tough her settling....

DS was unexpected offered a place to stay at his school for sixth form. He was very keen to continue there and was happy for about a fortnight. However things are starting to unravel already and I've spent the evening replying to school emails and trying but failing to talk to him.
He just won't do any work at all. Even though he has chosen subjects he really likes.
So frustrating. A great opportunity but he just isn't able to access it. I naively thought it might be ok and he had matured and get on with it.

It's so hard isn't it.... we seem to be ok with the work at the moment but she doesn't like anyone l. Says she hates every day and won't join in any of the extra curricular stuff....

She seems so miserable, I really hoped she would find her tribe at 6th form but she just isn't l.... she just doesn't seem to like people and I think people don't like her.....

It just never seems to get easier......
