We've been using a solicitor for our dc ehcp appeal. La had conceded early on the main points and we're pretty happy. Solicitor wants to carry on to tribunal to ensure ehcp is understandably watertight but the costs are spiralling and I'm getting a bit frustrated with some of the decisions. It was supposed to make the process less stressful but I don't actually think it has. I want to deinstruct them, if this is even the right word! Does anyone know if this is possible and how you go about it. Appeal is with sendist and date of hearing is next February, if we get this far. Thanks

I would continue with the appeal even if you don’t continue using the solicitor’s services. Speak to the solicitors. Whether you owe anything further will depend on your contract/what you have already paid.
