Support for child with SEN on scout camp (or similar)

Does anyone have a child with high level of SEN need (think pretty much full time 1:1 at school) who has gone on a long scout (or equivalent) camp, so for a week and not just a weekend? If so, what support were scouts able to offer? We're there grants available anywhere to fund an additional adult? If not, who gave support to your child? Thanks.

For DS3, we have done a mixture of DH attending with him, scouts being able to provide (a suitable) 1:1 with the other volunteers going and his PA going with him. He is in Explorers now which isn’t going as well as Cubs, Beavers, Scouts who were very supportive.

When DS3 was in school (moved to EOTAS earlier this year), one of his 1:1s went with him on residential trips.
