Last day or primary for my lo tomorrow. We have a special school place for September, which we never thought would happen and obviously I'm over the moon about it because he so needs it. However I'm really sad. His Ms have been fantastic, and I really wanted it to work out but it hasn't.
Not sure point of this post really but so many mixed feelings and emotions

We are in the same boat!

I hope DS has a good last day.

Mixed feelings are normal, even if you know it is necessary. DS3 moved from a very supportive secondary to EOTAS earlier this year. Despite it being what he wanted and DS not coping well with the sensory environment at school, he cried when we told him.

I totally get it! Mixed emotions here as we just took DD out of MS primary to move to home ed. Even though its definitely the best thing, the school was amazingly supportive. I'm a bit in mourning for what might have been, but also hopeful for a happier child. Good luck to you and DS
