DS diagnosed-whirlwind of emotions, is this normal?

Is this normal? Suspected DS had sen, and he was diagnosed with ADHD recently. We are still awaiting an ASD assessment. I am all over the place with my emotions. I can go from a bit tearful to relieved he's getting support. It's just very overwhelming . Just want to know I'm not alone.

Mixed feelings can be normal even if you were expecting the diagnosis.
