Suspect my son has ADHD, where do I start? (Title edited by MNHQ at request of OP)

So I have suspected this lately quite a bit. Asked a friend today and she said yes she agrees.

Where do I start? Do I speak to school?

Is there just a bit of a cross over with lively boisterous boys?

Forgive me if I come across ignorant.

Start by speaking to the GP and the school’s SENCO. If you google you should be able to find the referral process for your area.

@BrumToTheRescue thank you. I'll try to speak to GP and I'll have a word with school. He's a different child at school but the more I read about masking the more I wonder if this is what he's doing.

It isn’t unusual for DC to present differently at school compared to at home. A good SENCO will understand that.
