Hi there!

NI mum here with DD5 recently diagnosed with ASD and DD2 (who appears very NT to me, very different to DD5 at that age!)

I’m relatively new to the world of SEN, we always had our suspicions with DD but thought perhaps she was shy due to pandemic, being an only child (at the time) etc. it then became very evident when she started preschool last year and her teacher broached me with concerns. I don’t know any other parents of SEN children either so I’ve found these boards very valuable!

How is your DS?

Hi we noticed from a young age with our son, and mentioned our suspicions to his nursery when he started and within a week they called us in and agreed and then with that we got his diagnosis when he was 3 and a half. He now has a sen 121 support assistant in a mainstream school. How about your daughter? Xx

Such a shame we don't live near.
I have a 19 year old and 9 year old who both have autism.
