Hi everyone, I’m currently looking at purchasing some ear defenders for my DS with sensory difficulties. A Google search brings up so so many different ones and I was curious if anyone on here had any recommendations?

I would just like them to be comfortable, fit well (DS is 3, turning 4 In January) and help with noise. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Slightly slow off the mark but we use the generic ones from amazon (£8 ish I think) and they are comfy enough to wear all day and are robust enough to withstand the playground.
I have ordered some in ear "calmer" https://www.flareaudio.com/products/calmer-kids?variant=40206562623591 now that he is a bit older but haven't tried them yet. They are expensive and I am worried that they will be lost at school. We have got them with and without the lanyard string.

Calmer® Kids

An earplug to make spiky sounds smooth. Calmer® Kids reduces the most annoying sounds and helps them focus on the important ones. Perfect for all children including those with sensitive hearing, autism and other sensory processing conditions.

@gato21 thanks for showing me these, I had no idea they existed. I don’t know if DS will wear the big ones so these are definitely worth knowing about. I’ll give these a try too for options 😃
