Has anyone used Homeopathy with Asd

Hi, I have a dd 19mths who had asd flags, no eye contact ,no gestures , only starting to respond to name but otherwise a happy content baby.

My astrologer in India whom I've known for years prescribed a very mild remedy and we saw positive changes and now plateau.

Given my astrologer is an astrologer first and a homeopath later. I was wondering if anyone else had tried homeopathy.
And had any success please?

I suspect any improvement you saw was coincidental given that astrology and homeopathy have no basis in science. However they are unlikely to do any harm, and the placebo effect is a proven thing.

On the other hand, I suspect putting your time and energy into more proven therapies might be more beneficial for you and your DD.

The positive effects were a return to eye contact 75% and turning to her name. Regardless I will carry on multiple paths ot, st, early intervention etc to get the best results

@Heartflutterbuttercup Can I ask what you used please?

I'm still using it and some of the results have been remarkable

If he’s autistic then you can’t ’cure’ it. It’s the way his brain is wired. It sounds like he’s just developing.

@newsenmum who said anything about curing ?

I've seen an improvement in some symptoms, wouldn't every mother want to see that ?

@App13 I'm so pleased to hear that. Quite a few remedies have been tried on all my children now. Most recently my daughter, who could possibly be ND although I would say very mildly and more ADHD (like myself and others in our family) most recently Lycopodium and tub are the remedies we have tried.

There are thousands of remedies and each prescription will be unique to the person.

I am now developing quite a collection of remedies to help with sniffles etc too and am studying a bit deeper too!

Something you could look at is the condition pans/ pandas (lost of podcasts on that) and also there is a charity, homeopathy UK, and you can see if you can get a free consultation/ treatment through them. There are lots of free clinics in the UK if you can't pay. Most are run by GPs or other healthcare professionals.

@Heartflutterbuttercup thank you so much for that. My dd is under the care of a specialist homeopath since November and its yielded some positive change for sure.

One of the girls being treated has only just started talking after 11 yrs of being non verbal.
