It would be great to know if you have any feedback from parents with children with an EHCP (Autism and ADHD) and who have sent their children to any of the following mainstream and specialist schools in West or South West London?

Wimbledon College
Westside School
West London Free School
Burlington House
Roehampton Gate School
Cardinal Vaughn
London Oratory (I suspect their pastoral care is quite poor but would be great to actually have reviews from a parent as we live close by)

Thank you so much for your honest feedback - it is so helpful to know how our sons will fare in these schools. I think more and more it seems mainstream with sen provision wont be the right place for my son.

I still have Wimbledon College on my list - but will now focus on specialist schools.

I hope your son gets the support he needs at Vaughn and that the bullying can stop as soon as possible. Wishing you all well

Deciding between West London Free School and Chiswick School

My DS is very sporty and wants to go to a school offering competitive fixtures, mainly in football. He is also very musical although he has stopped playing an instrument in the past year. It would seem that West London Free School offers what he wants but he may have underlying ADHD, do not sure how sympathetically he will be treated and whether he would get adequate support if needed. Any thoughts on this? Are children happy there and is the environment nurturing one as opposed to toxic? Is it easy to make friends, as he will be join Year 9? I understand quite a lot of the children have been there since primary school. Would also appreciate any information on the sports offer at Chiswick School and the SEN support there.
