my son turns 4 in July and we visited a school i explained he is currently under SEN and waiting for speech and language as he is on the waiting list for. He is very delayed in speech can barely string a sentence along or understand what he is being told. the head told us we can defer him till the following September however the application for deferral needed to be in by the 31st of march. do you think they will still take applications as i was unaware you can defer the school place and his nursery didn't know you can defer and they would be able to go into reception the following year. any advice most appreciated
