My husband and I are thinking of moving to Frankfurt and we’re looking into schools. Our son is autistic and whilst he attends a mainstream school in the UK, he does receive moderate support. He does not speak any German yet does understand the basics. My husband speaks to him in German 70% of the time yet our son for whatever reason will not / cannot speak German.
Does anyone have experience of international or state schools with a good SEN provision in Frankfurt? Our son (turning 8 in November) would be going into grade 2 in 2023.
Any other advice or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.
