New to all of this, and I have no idea how to support her. School have been great, spotted it and got her screened and if they do what they say they will do, they'll give her all the support in school, but can anyone steer me in the direction of good resources for parents please. Every day I have to cajole her into school because she's so disheartened by it. She's got a maths test this morning and is freaked out by it. I've told her now she's on the school SEN register she'll get extra time and support but she's unconvinced. It's all new to her too so guess it takes time to build up trust with the SEN team at school.

I can’t help with resources for dyslexia sorry, but on general SEN provision reading the SENCOP and IPSEA and SOSSEN’s websites is helpful. And for the rules on access arrangements JCQ’s policy.

Have you been told by the school DD will receive extra time? Because not all on the SEN register will.

Hiya, thanks for the reply. As far as extra time for tests in school, yes for the school led tests she will get extra time, and the school have said in year 10 she'll be assessed again so the exam board can establish how much extra time she can get formal exams .
