Formal dyslexia diagnosis - what happens next?

Had a private dyslexia assessment today for my 8 year old daughter. Although I don’t have the report yet, the assessor confirmed that my daughter is dyslexic.

What happens next? When I have the report, do I just organise a meeting with her teacher/SENDCO at the school?

Yes, speak to the teacher and SENCO.

Support in schools is based on needs rather than diagnosis based, so the diagnosis may not result in anything different.
