ASD/PDA Secondary School suitable for girls Surrey/surrounding areas

Hello,

My Dd is currently in year 6 and has a diagnosis of ASD/PDA and we are looking for a suitable Secondary school in Surrey/surrounding areas for year 7 2023.

She won't cope in a completely mainstream environment and the Cullum Centres (e.g Salesians and Hinchley wood) are not suitable due to the low level of support provided and amount of time in mainstream classes (we've visited and spoken with them).

She is extremely demand avoidant and really needs small class sizes with mainly 121 support and minimal transitions throughout the day. Does anyone have any recommendations/experience with an ASD type school suitable for a girl with ASD/PDA? We are based in Staines and have considered Limpsfield Grange in Oxted (which looks great) but it's just that bit too far away. It seems there are limited options!

Thank you for any help.

Following this as we have a son with ASD and we're trying to get an EHCP. We're looking at More House (boys only unfortunately) and WEMS in Long Ditton.

We'd love to get him into the Cullum Centre in Salesians but have been told there's no space.

I don’t have any suggestions but you can search for schools here.

babysteps22 legally speaking, with an EHCP on its own no spaces isn’t enough of a reason for the LA to refuse.

Yes so I understand. They just put barriers up and hope you give up, I think.
