hi folks, my dd who is 13 years old has been displaying some signs of autism she’s been telling me that she did a RAADS R test online and it came back 149 and that means she’s autistic, Im unsure if she’s autistic or not I could get her tested but there’s a long waiting list she’s also did other online tests and it came back she’s autistic and she had shown me, she’s been telling me about self diagnosing and I don’t know if I should let her self diagnose herself but I noticed she isn’t very social and she spins around alot and stims and she flaps her hands when she’s excited and she can’t handle loud noises and it’s always been a thing since she was young that she couldn’t handle loud noises like fireworks while other children enjoyed them she didn’t though, also the school had asked me when she was 11 if she was on the autism spectrum my daughter has social anxiety and I’m unsure if it’s just the symptoms of social anxiety that makes her display the symptoms but I’m unsure.
