I home tutor a young person with ASC. The plan is to get her ready for her Maths and Science GCSEs next year but I know she isn't engaged at all. She is 18 and a big fan of cosplay and designs costumes on the side and has shown me some great work she has created. She attends conventions and knows all the characters 🤷🏼♀️ I'm wondering if anyone knows of any ways to engage her in a lesson that incorporates this? I'm really struggling for ideas. They don't have to be maths or science specific. Just a way to get her involved. I feel really foolish as I'm really stumped.
