I'm writing a guide for parents and teachers of children with special needs such as dyslexia, causing difficulties when reading/ learning Quran.
Could you share your experiences and thoughts on how this has affected your children's Islamic education?

dear parents, I want you to write your/your child's story of a struggle you have faced throughout your Quran learning journey. how much support was available for you from masajid and madaris. what kind of support would have been useful if it existed.

MY STORY

I was dyslexic and had anxiety issues, I have struggled a lot.
# imagine your condition is not recognised.
# you have no resources.
# you can't express your feelings to anyone.
but I was a bright child, I always believed that somehow I could find help and find solutions to my problems.
# I'm a self-taught person.
not just that, I've got married to an autistic person.
I also got a dyslexic child and another child has a developmental delay.
Furthermore, I faced a lot of challenges with their Quran Quran learning journey but I managed to help them and now I'm ready to share my experiences with Muslim parents around the world.
