Looking for EP contact who accepts parent referrals

Hi. I am looking for an Educational Psychologist contact for my son's EP report for school. Pointers would be appreciated.

Any independent EP will accept parent referrals - its only the LA ones that have to be instructed by schools or LA via an EHCP needs assessment.

Is this for an EHCP? as if it is, you might be better to apply for the EHCP first and then get an independent tribunal standard one (likely £1800+) if you feel you need more input.

If not, then you should find someone for under £1000. You are best of searching for ones local to you using a web search and possibly posting to ask if anyone has had experience of using them. Local likely best as they can see your child at school.
