Recommendation needed for SEMH assessment in South East

I have an educational psychologist's report but need to get a further assessment done for the EHCP tribunal that digs deeper into Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues. I'm not entirely sure whether a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist would be more appropriate but would welcome any recommendations for anyone that is good in this field and has tribunal experience, preferably based in the South East but will travel if I have to.

Unfortunately I am under some time pressure as an appeal against the EHCP has been lodged and the clock is ticking. Everyone that I have contacted so far has a long waiting list.

I hope someone will come along soon to help you. I have given up trying to find someone in the SE.

Yes, it can seem a bit like that - which is why I have said that I am prepared to travel if necessary.

Whilst finding somebody that is 4 or 5 hours away from me would certainly be inconvenient if it saves having to delay the tribunal date by a couple of months then it would be well worthwhile. It's just a matter of perspective. Some of the places that I have looked at have notices on their websites saying that they are just not taking any more clients at the moment. A sad sign of the times.
