My child is 16 years old and High function ASD. He finished his GCSE last Year with good result. His social communication, independent skills is way behind for his age. I have been searching most of schools, but unfortunately not many offer A Level. Now I am thinking of grammar, independent college with good ASD provision , anyone knows?

Do you want a mainstream or specialist college? Does DS have an EHCP? Would you consider a special school that offers A levels?

Rejected by them with following reasons:

Distance impact on the attendance
No suitable Peer group
No A level courses offered on site
No OT provision could meet son's needs

Confused
