Lack of support in reception

Hi lovelies first time poster just looking for some advice. My LO moved from school nursery to reception in September and just hates it. There is OT involved due to low muscle tone and some hearing loss so they are supposed to have support in place (direct learning to be done outside the class so she can hear and help with writing etc due to poor gross and fine motor skills) which just isn't happening. I have a meeting booked in but didn't know where to start with getting the support put in place or if I could make them help. Behaviour has gone down the toilet both at home and school so I really need to get it sorted! Thank you

Does DD have an EHCP? As that alters the replies you will get.

@Shatteredchar

If your child does not have an EHCP, schools have a statutory duty to use their "best endeavours" to support your child's SEN.
