I'm a North London based mum of 5yo DS who has some special needs (hyptonia/dyspraxia) and looking for suggestions on holiday clubs. His mobility issues mean that he can walk (wobbly) but cannot run, jump or play sports; his speech can be difficult to understand but improving; fine motor is ok. He is in a mainstream school with an EHCP and doing very well – no learning difficulties, and his language and understanding are age appropriate; no sensory issues. Because of his physical delays it's been hard to get him playdates – in the park the children run and he can't keep up; and I think he really needs a lot of social interaction as do all kids. Of course he gets it at school but I'd love him to go to some holiday clubs where he can enjoy himself and have new experiences. Do you know if these clubs would accept him or refuse because he has SN. He doesn’t necessarily need to go to an SN club. Any views on this – I would be most grateful.
