Autism diagnosis - should I push for diagnosis?

I am quite sure dd is autistic but she's busy copying others to mask any difference between her and her friends.

She's 7. Teachers keep telling me she's not doing so well at school, she learns well in a one to one setting, learns really well at home but at school it seems apart from the social side of things there's not so much point in going as she's actually getting more and more behind academically despite being capable when I teach her.

Should I push for a diagnosis of what I suspect is the case so I can start to get help from this angle or leave it and try to sort the educational issues out with the school in a different way?
I have zero experience with sen and I do feel well out of my depth with it all but if I read about asd I find myself nodding away thinking about dd. And I'm also quite sure I am too but not too worried about myself as I get by.
