Some people have huge success if they will learn with you, in a comfortable, home environment.

Our DD (ASD) likes being at home but almost always absolutely refuses any learning unfortunately!

We are however going to attempt to all learn a language together 👍🏼

Hope it goes well x

We are about to officially HE
He’s school refusing a special school place at the moment
He’s been out of school 3 years ,so I’ve been unofficially HE all that time.
Are you thinking of home ed ,op

Pringle don't deregister (since DS is in a SS you would need to ask permission). If you EHE the LA are relieved of their duty to meet DS' SEN. If DS is school refusing his needs aren't being met. Does he need more support, reassessment &/or a change of placement?

If DS is unable to attend school whilst you are going through the process of amending his EHCP the LA have a duty to provide education. They should already be doing that.

They have given him 25 hours of education in 2 years ,while we wait for this school place
Nothing was in place in school from his ehcp .
I’d been teaching him myself anyway the last 2 years while they sort their shit out .
It’s just easier to get on and do it myself

As for permission
Well ,I have kept all his work books from the last 2 years ,where I have provided an education, and they provided 25 hours .
Yeah I’d quite to tell them what I think
