Hi, I'm looking for a calm independent school with class sizes of max 12-15 suitable for an able year 7 child with Anxiety/ASD/Dyslexia. Ideally up to year 11/13 but will consider a prep. Needs to be within an hour of Bournemouth/Poole or weekly boarding within a couple of hours. Mainstream or SEN schools considered. Ideally one that accepts children with EHCPs (LA funded or self funded)

Any suggestions?

have posted in secondary education but thought I might get a good reponse here too.

Thank you.

Linwood might be worth a look? It is for students with mental health problems (such as anxiety), ASD and dyslexia.

Thanks @sleepismysuperpower1
The Springwood campus has been sugested to me. Any idea if the kids can do GCSEs? My daughter would want to go on to to A levels, I expect.

I have just had a quick look and it looks like English, Maths and Science GCSEs are offered at the summerwood campus.

The school day ends at 2:45, so she could look at taking a few GCSEs online if she wished, or you could discuss with the school since they often partner with the local colleges, so could look at offering more subject variety possibly?
