DS screened for dyslexia last term, SENCO of the opinion he shows all signs of being a classic dyslexic. Has been referred to Ed Psych and SALT and OT

appointment come through for SALT a week on friday, but not sure what to expect... his speech seems fine to me, he is very eloquent and has a wide ranging vocab..

any thoughts?

TIA

Referral may be to be sure he is okay and also to compare his Speech and language against his difficulties. So if he scores very high with SALT it is more 'proof' that he is dyslexic if his spelling/reading is below.
